1. Definitions

"Budgio" / "We" / "Us" / "Our" —

Budgio, a business registered in Malaysia, operating at No. 14, Jalan SS15/4, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor.

"User" / "You" / "Participant" —

Any individual or organisation accessing our website or registering for a workshop or programme.

"Services" —

Educational workshops, toolkits, community programmes, and related materials offered by Budgio.

"Content" —

All text, worksheets, templates, slides, and materials provided as part of the Services.

"Agreement" —

These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

"Website" —

The site accessible at budgio.blog.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, or registering for any Budgio workshop or programme, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

• You must be at least 18 years of age to register for our services.
• If registering on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
• If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

3. Service Description

Budgio provides general financial education in the form of structured workshops and learning programmes. Our current service offerings are:

Services are delivered in Malaysia. We reserve the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel sessions with reasonable advance notice. Significant changes will be communicated directly to registered participants.

4. Participation & Registration

• Registration is confirmed upon receipt of full payment and our written acknowledgement.
• You are responsible for providing accurate contact information at the time of registration.
• Workshop seats are limited; registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
• You are responsible for the security of any account credentials or access links provided to you.
• Sharing access credentials or workshop materials with unregistered individuals is not permitted.

5. User Responsibilities

All participants are expected to engage respectfully and in good faith. The following conduct is not permitted:

• Reproducing, selling, or distributing Budgio workshop materials without written consent
• Recording sessions (audio or video) without prior approval
• Disrupting the learning environment for other participants
• Using our platform or content for any unlawful purpose
• Impersonating another person or providing false information
• Attempting to access systems or data you are not authorised to access

Budgio reserves the right to remove a participant from a session without refund if conduct is deemed disruptive or in breach of these terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All workshop content, worksheets, templates, frameworks, slides, and website materials are the intellectual property of Budgio or its licensors and are protected by Malaysian copyright law.

Upon registration, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use materials for personal educational purposes only. This licence does not permit reproduction, distribution, commercial use, or creation of derivative works without our prior written consent.

Any feedback or ideas you share with us may be used by Budgio to improve our services without obligation to you.

7. Payment & Refunds

Pricing & Currency

All prices are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise noted. Payment must be made in full prior to attendance.

Cancellation by Participant

• Cancellations made 14 or more days before the session: full refund less an administrative fee of RM 50.
• Cancellations made 7–13 days before: 50% refund.
• Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before: no refund, but the registration may be transferred to a future session subject to availability.

Cancellation by Budgio

If Budgio cancels a session, registered participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a rescheduled date. Budgio is not liable for any costs incurred by participants as a result of a session cancellation.

8. Enrolment & Certificates

• Certificates of attendance are issued for the Goal Mastery Programme upon successful completion of the programme requirements.
• Certificates confirm attendance and participation in a general-education programme. They do not constitute professional qualifications, financial advisory credentials, or regulated certifications.
• Participants must attend a minimum of 80% of scheduled sessions to be eligible for a certificate.
• Materials provided are for personal educational use and are not to be reproduced commercially.

9. Disclaimers

• Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
• We do not represent that workshop content will lead to any specific financial outcome.
• We do not warrant that the website will be continuously available or free from errors.
• Information provided in sessions reflects general educational perspectives, not personalised advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Budgio and its team members shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your participation in our services or use of our website.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service involved.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Termination

Either party may end their participation in a service with notice, subject to the refund terms in Section 7. Budgio may suspend or terminate a participant's access without refund if they materially breach these terms, including engaging in prohibited conduct outlined in Section 5.

Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination of these terms.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

Before initiating formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us directly at [email protected] to attempt an informal resolution. We are committed to addressing concerns promptly and fairly.

Where informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes may be referred to mediation before court proceedings, in accordance with the Mediation Act 2012 (Malaysia).

13. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Budgio.
• Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
• Assignment: You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights in connection with a business restructure or transfer.
• Notices: Formal notices should be sent to [email protected] or to our registered address.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When material changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also notify registered users by email.
